Lead singer of the band Israel Vibration Cecil Spence otherwise known as “Skelly” is dead.
Official Statement: “We are deeply sorry to announce that Cecil “Skelly” Spence is gone to rest. In the last few months, he was doing therapy on his right hand and shoulder due to arthritis. Last week he was not feeling well and went to the hospital in New York where he just discovered he had aggressive cancer with no possibility of treatment. He asked to send his love to all his fans. That was one of his last words. Please say a prayer to him. Rest in Peace, Skelly. We will miss you.
A few of his popular albums were “The Same Song” (1978), “Top Ranking Unconquered People” (1979), “Harvest Why You So Craven” (1981), “Volcano Strength of My Life” (1988), RAS. He was known for his words of wisdom and energy during a performance.
He was 70 years old.
